COTW 16-03-15: Miracle Element, Atmos

Stride (Released when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater!)-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.

If this worn out and old phone can post this then I'll follow up with this week's rightful card after the turn of midnight, as such let's keep this one short but sweet. Ah hell, we're back to mobile posting again.

With the release of Generation Stride we are introduced to Cray Elementals: Miracle Element, Atmos is the first of these.

Cray Elementals are units usable in all clans, and being a G-Unit means Atmos gives all decks access to Stride and G-Assist. I can't remember if I ever covered my opinions on those mechanics now I think about it- damn, now I'm going to need to double check over my own blog.

Anyway, aside from being usable in all decks, Atmos also comes equipped with a skill, for as cheap as Counterblast 1 his +10000 is brilliant for breaking down your opponent's defences, but it will be wasted if the opponent has a Perfect Guard. As for why, just some simple numbers. Most stride, no exception here, hit for 26000 with triple drive, often with a 7000 boost to make for hitting 33000.
That's if there's any threat of possible death you're going to be greeted by a perfect guard anyway, especially now even the ultra budget players have access to them.
